Several of the teams are looking for managers and coaches.  Here are some hopefuls.

Dorothy Butler of Noon, Colorado has had a long and distinguished career, and wants one last shot at a championship.

Lydia Phillips of Bienfait, Alabama has had more experience with soccer than football, but her last year as a linebacker's coach with the Tuscaloosa team was a success by anyone's standards.

Ebony Jackson of Kendall, Oklahoma always commands the respect of those who play for her, mostly because of her successful career as a player.

Don't rule out Sabrina Hamilton of Loco, Colorado.  Alright, there was that embarrassing incident that occurred when she visited the locker room of the Colorado State Rams football team in her Naked League uniform to visit her nephew.  But her success with the Aurora team last year can't be questioned.

Here's  Jennifer Dixon of Correctionville, Kentucky reminiscing about her distinguished career as a quarterback and then the coach of the Owensboro Owls.

Special Report - Why the Mixed Naked Football League didn't work.

Center Marion Snyder of Tannenbaum, Utah demonstrates what happened when quarterback Charles Peters stepped up too close for the snap.

Here End Yvonne Garrett of Trophy Club, Kentucky shows what happened when the offensive Tight End pushed her into Outside Linebacker Sylvester Jones who was right behind her.  She doesn't look happy about it.

Most of the problems occurred because of the natural reaction the male quarterbacks had toward their female centers.  Here veteran center Paulette Ortiz of Savona, New Jersey was unceremoniously impaled by quarterback Lester Perkins.  Paulette tells us that if the league hadn't folded, she would have quit.  Lester wanted it to last forever.

Same ol' same ol'.   Gladys Clark of Spies, South Dakota demonstrates what occurred when quarterback Mike Henry was backing her up.  Henry was so distracted that he fumbled and didn't care.

Here's one with a happy ending.  Center Joan Banks of Erickson, New Jersey and Quarterback Bernard Mccormick demonstrate what can happen when... well, we've seen it before.  In this case Banks was so impressed by McCormick's drive and enthusiasm that they were married this past February.  Congrats, Joan and Bernard.

Kickers and Centers

Center Rhonda Francis of Wakaw Lake, Washington takes time off from her vacation to show you her stuff.

Kicker Angela Edwards of Tripoli, Maine limbers up for the tryouts.  She obviously enjoys her work.

Here's kicker Ruth Cain of Shoo Fly, Indiana.  With that great form you can tell her scoring percentage will be very high.

Janice Carlson of Honk Hill, Hawaii works out in a caldera of an extinct volcano in Hawaii.  She tells us that fending off the surfer dudes helps with her kicking style.

You can see the deep concentration in the eyes of center Holly Moran of Coffee Pot Landing, South Dakota.  She knows exactly what the opposite team is up to.

Gina Moreno of Y City, Montana is the first lesbian to come out among this year's prospects.  The other prospects have a good attitude toward her orientation, and won't let it come between them.

On a somber note, here's an enthusiastic look at lineswomen who didn't work out because they were too small.  Later on you'll see a couple of them trying out for center.  Speaking of center, Audrey Parsons of Slaughter, Maine in the center of the photo shows exceptionally good form.

For lineswomen on both sides of the line we're looking primarily for bulk and strength in the Women's Naked Football League.  Sure, lateral movement is good, but bulk is primary... you set yourself up and nobody can run through you.  It helps to look fearsome.

Nobody's going to get by Mildred Frazier of Whiskey Creek, Indiana, that's for sure. She's strong, mean, and big.

Patricia Chandler of Metinota, North Carolina shows us her form on the line.  She hits you at crotch level, you'll never forget it.  If you survive.

Nichole Hodges of Carnation, Alabama scratches an itch, but you can see how she can plow through anything with that massive bulk.

Don't let Ruby Long of Harlem, New Mexico surprise you.  She might look friendly, but she's a terror on the line.

There's nothing friendly about massive Mary May of Red Top, North Carolina, when she's on the field she'll have male linesmen running the other way.  At 6'2" and 350 lbs she's one of the biggest prospects in the league.
